Jasmine Bryant joined the CTLO after 12+ years of teaching college chemistry at the University of Washington and USC. She has a passion for coaching faculty and graduate students interested in implementing evidence-based teaching methods in their classrooms, serving as a peer-coach for UW's Evidence-Based Teaching Program and as a mentor for four Burg Graduate Teaching Fellows in the Chemistry Department at USC. While at UW she and three fellow chemistry professors were awarded the Distinguished Teaching Award for Innovation with Technology. Prior to her college teaching career, she earned a Master's in Teaching from Seattle University, was a junior high school science teacher, and served on the management team of several NSF-funded research centers based at UW.
Jasmine is excited to return to Caltech, where she earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry and served as Caltech Alumni Association President, Caltech Fund Chair, and SURF Board member.
