Caltech Educational Outreach programs, housed within the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach, translate and transfer the essence of the Institute's research for the purpose of increasing public awareness and understanding of basic science and engineering principles. Our faculty, staff, and students are involved in all aspects of these high-impact, transportable programs, which expose local and regional PreK, elementary, middle, and high school students, teachers, and parents to cutting-edge science and technology. Our programs inform, inspire, and motivate specific audiences through both informal and formal education tools and mechanisms in alignment with state and national science education standards.
