Research Poster Design Workshop
The Graduate Student Council (GSC) is sponsoring a Poster Session on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 2-4pm at the Beckman Institute Courtyard. As a part of this event, the Caltech Project for Effective Teaching (CPET) is sponsoring a Poster Design Workshop on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 1-2:30pm at the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach (CTLO), Room 360 in the Center for Student Services (CSS).
The Poster Session Workshop will provide guidelines for poster design and presentation as well as hands-on feedback in peer groups to facilitate poster improvement. Even if your poster is already printed, this workshop will provide you with advice on presentation skills and design guidelines for future posters. Come discuss your poster in a supportive and constructive environment.
Participants and their poster will have an opportunity to be included in filming of the PhD Movie 2 on Saturday, January 24.
