Syllabus Workshop for Caltech Instructors

Led by Dr. Jenn Weaver, CTLO Associate Director for University Teaching

Designed for any Caltech instructor of record (professorial faculty member, lecturer, teaching postdoc) who will be teaching an upcoming Caltech course. 

This workshop will include:

• Discussion of the latest research on how and why your syllabus matters and how it can impact student learning.
• Step-by-step guidance on designing an effective syllabus for clarity, tone, and to help structure student learning.
• Feedback on your draft syllabus--you will leave with a new or revised version.
