The Caltech Project for Effective Teaching (CPET, more information below) invites you to join us for a community meeting on Friday, January 12, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach (CTLO, 3rd floor, CSS! This is an opportunity to discuss the challenges and successes you had in the previous term and talk with other teaching-minded individuals about how you can teach effectively in future terms. We will also discuss upcoming CPET events and programs and how CPET can best serve you in the winter term and beyond.

What is CPET? CPET (or the Caltech Project for Effective Teaching) is a group of grad students and postdocs dedicated to improving our own teaching and helping others to do the same. Advised by the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach (CTLO), we host seminars, workshops, and discussions on topics related to higher education. We also offer two Teaching Certificate programs to help participants become knowledgeable and effective future faculty. Want to learn more? Check out our website or email us at cpet@caltech.edu.

To learn about future CPET events, sign up for our mailing list, to which we periodically send information and updates about teaching-related events, resources, and other items of interest.

For more information, please contact Rebekah Silva and Olivia Wilkins by email at cpet@caltech.edu.
