Caltech Student Data and Insights on Teaching
Led by Dr. Cassandra Horii (CTLO) and Dr. Hanna Song (CCD)
Designed for faculty teaching Core and other large/introductory courses, especially first and second year science, math, and engineering.
This discussion will include:
- Updated information about Caltech's entering students to inform teaching: academic experiences, preparation, demographics, and tendencies.
- Insights on teaching based on surveys and related data from recent Caltech entering undergraduate students.
- An overview of teaching approaches that are most beneficial to Caltech students.
