Spring TA Training
At Caltech, a Teaching Orientation is required for all Teaching Assistants prior to or at the start of their first appointment. The Caltech Introduction to University Teaching Program fulfills the institute's TA Orientation requirement and serves as an introduction to teaching at the university level.
The program consists of three steps:
1) RSVP for an in-person session here.
Monday, March 28, 2016 from 9am - 10amTuesday, March 29, 2016 from 9am - 10amFriday, April 1, 2016 from 11am - 12pmWednesday, April 6, 2016 from 11am - 12pmFriday, April 8, 2016 from 9am - 10am- Friday, April 15, 2016 from 3pm - 4pm
2) Complete the Online Policies Module before your scheduled in-person session.
3) Attend and actively participate in the in-person session.
Completion of both the Online Policies Module and the in-person meeting with CTLO staff are required to successfully complete the Caltech Introduction to University Teaching Program and fulfill the TA Orientation requirement.
