Are you currently on the academic faculty job market? Would you like to learn more about how to write a teaching statement or a research statement? Then these workshops are for you!
Workshop 1:
Teaching Statements
When: This Friday, October 17th, 2:30-3:30pm
Where: Noyes 153
What: The staff from Caltech's Center for Teaching Learning and Outreach (CTLO) will talk about how to craft a teaching statement.
Workshop 2:
Research Statements
When: October 22nd, 2-3pm
Where: Noyes 153
What: A panel of young faculty and postdocs who have received academic job offers will talk about how to craft a research statement.
Workshop 3:
Review of Application Materials
When: October 29th, 1:30-3:30pm
Where: Winnett Lounge
What: Bring a CV, research statement, or teaching statement and trade with other participants to get feedback. The CTLO staff will be there to answer questions.
