Certificate of Interest
The Certificate of Interest in University Teaching provides an introduction to various facets of teaching and learning through topical seminars and workshops. The journal entries written for each event are intended to assist participants in the development of their teaching philosophy. Please contact us at cpet@caltech.edu if you are interested in participating in the Certificate of Interest program.
Requirements for the Certificate of Interest in University Teaching:
- Participate in six CPET seminars or workshops, or other approved Caltech programs.
- Write and submit a journal entry for each seminar or workshop detailing what you learned and how you will apply it to current or future teaching. CPET Co-directors will review journal entries as they are submitted; participants will receive feedback and information on further opportunities related to the content of the journal.
